The Philadelphia Flyers have increased concerns regarding anything having to do with Russia after the situation with goalie Ivan Fedotov. Now there might be increased concerns with 2023 top pick Matvei Michkov.

After being loaned to a lower-level KHL club last season, the 18-year-old was thought to be getting more of an opportunity with SKA St. Petersburg this season, but Michkov was a healthy scratch in the club’s season opener.
