Buffalo Sabres
Sabres On National TV 15 Times In The U.S.
The Buffalo Sabres were one of the highest-scoring offenses in the National Hockey League last season and missed the Stanley Cup Playoffs by one point, and because of that, they will be a regular presence on the National TV broadcasts in the United States this season. The NHL released the schedules for games on ESPN, ESPN+, Hulu, ABC, and TNT on Wednesday and the Sabres will appear in 15 games on those networks.
Four of the most prominent matches occur next March, featuring the only visit of former Sabres captain Jack Eichel and the Stanley Cup Champion Vegas Golden Knights on the 2nd, the Edmonton Oilers and Hart Trophy winner Connor McDavid on the 9th, and two games against Buffalo’s territorial and division archrival, the Toronto Maple Leafs. The Sabres also take on the reigning President’s Trophy-winning Boston Bruins just after the Christmas break on December 27, and the first visit to Buffalo for 2023 top overall pick Connor Bedard on January 17.
