Published

on

Former NHL head coach Kevin Constantine has been suspended by the Western Hockey League pending an independent investigation into alleged violations of WHL regulations and policies, the league announced on Monday. Constantine, the former San Jose, Pittsburgh, and New Jersey bench boss, was hired by the Wenatchee Wild in July after the club moved from Winnipeg this summer.

The Wild are the junior club for both 2022 top pick Matthew Savoie and 2023 top pick Zach Benson.

The Columbus Blue Jackets have added Hall of Famer Mark Recchi to their coaching staff. Recchi, who served as an assistant coach with Pittsburgh and New Jersey, will join head coach Pascal Vincent’s staff. Vincent replaced Mike Babcock when he resigned earlier this month.
