Sabres Daily: Buffalo Add To Hockey Dept.; Leafs Sign Jones
The Buffalo Sabres announced the addition of former NHLer Zach Redmond and college coach Brad Dexter to their management staff on Wednesday.
The 35-year-old Redmond played for Winnipeg, Colorado, and Montreal before finishing his North American professional career in Buffalo and Rochester from 2017 to 2020 and spent the last three seasons playing for Munich ECH in Germany. He has joined the Sabres organization as a player development coach.
Dexter coached at Princeton for eight seasons, including three as associate head coach, and is joining the club as a scout.

The Toronto Maple Leafs added goaltending depth with the signing of Martin Jones to a one-year, $875,000 deal on Wednesday. The 33-year-old had a 27-13-3 record, 2.99 GAA, .887 save percentage and three shutouts with the Seattle Kraken last season, and will likely be the club’s third goalie in the AHL with Ilya Samsonov and Joseph Woll playing with the Leafs.
