Ersson Signs With Flyers

The Philadelphia Flyers solidified their goaltending situation with the signing of Samuel Ersson to a two-year contract extension, worth $2.9 million. The 23-year-old Ersson is entering the final year of his entry-level contract after splitting time between the NHL Flyers and AHL Lehigh Valley last season and could factor in with Philadelphia this season if they move Carter Hart in the final year of his deal.
