Sabres Daily: McDavid Agent Made Oilers CEO; Krejci Retiring

Published

on

If you thought that there was a chance that Connor McDavid would leave the Edmonton Oilers when his contract is up in three years, the odds of that happening decreased with the announcement that agent Jeff Jackson was named the Oilers CEO of Hockey Operations. Team President and GM Ken Holland has one year remaining on his contract, which likely means that Jackson will take over some or all of his responsibilities in 2024.

McDavid was represented by Jackson since being drafted first overall in 2015, and will stay with the Orr-Wasserman Group and will shift to agent Judd Moldaver, who also represents Toronto Maple Leafs center and 2016 top overall pick Auston Matthews.
