on

The Buffalo Sabres have been around since 1970, but apparently, hockey fans can’t seem to remember that they exist.

The PennStakes website analyzed the results of an NHL Teams Quiz on Sporcle, giving people five minutes to name all 32 teams, and the Sabres were the second-most forgettable franchise.

The Nashville Predators remembered 72% of the time, were the most forgettable, while Buffalo was ranked second at 72.5%.

Sabres In Case You Missed It

New Sabres defenseman Erik Johnson is now a part owner of an English football club. Johnson, along with former teammate Gabriel Landeskog, golfers Jordan Spieth and Justin Thomas, and Olympic gold medal swimmer Michael Phelps have taken an ownership stake in Leeds United Football Club.

Leeds is currently relegated in the second-tier of the English Premier League.
