The Buffalo Sabres young talent is well-regarded around the NHL, and in a piece ranking the league’s prospect pools, Ian Kennedy of Yahoo Sports has the Sabres #1 overall.

Kennedy believes that Buffalo selecting Zach Benson #13 overall at the NHL Draft in Nashville was a steal, adding him to their bevvy of talent that includes prospect forwards Jiri Kulich, Matthew Savoie, Isak Rosen, Noah Ostlund, and Anton Wahlberg and goaltender Devon Levi.

Former NHL coach Kevin Constantine has returned to the Western Hockey League as the head coach of the Wenatchee Wild (formerly the Winnipeg Ice). Constantine coached the San Jose Sharks, Pittsburgh Penguins, and New Jersey Devils from 1993 to 2002, and since has held stints in the AHL, WHL, South Korea, Poland, and France. Wenatchee is the junior club of Sabres first-round picks Matthew Savoie and Zach Benson.
