Sabres Daily: Panocha Picked; Canadiens Comings/Goings
The Buffalo Sabres made eight picks at the 2023 NHL Draft in Nashville last week. With their final selection, the Sabres took German defenseman Norwin Panocha in the 7th Round. The 6’1″, 185 lb. blueliner played at two levels in the German League last season and scored two goals for Germany at the 2023 U-18 World Juniors.

Panocha was expected to play in Germany again this season, but he was selected 32nd overall in the CHL Import Draft by the Chicoutimi Sagueneens of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
