Sabres Daily: Luukkonen Surgery; Bruins Comings And Goings
Buffalo Sabres GM Kevyn Adams revealed to the media at the opening of Development Camp on Sunday that goalie Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen underwent minor surgery after the season, and reiterated his confidence in him and Devon Levi as his goaltending tandem for next season.

Luukkonen, 24, had an up-and-down campaign last season, playing more at the NHL level than was intended after being called up to replace the injured Erik Comrie in November. Adams said that the surgery had nothing to do with the big Finn’s previous hip issues, but was a minor procedure on his ankle.
