Sabres In New York State Of Mind To Start 23-24 Schedule

Published

on

The Buffalo Sabres will open what is anticipated to be an exciting 2023-24 regular season against their two New York state rivals, with the home opener against the Rangers at Key Bank Center on Thursday, October 12 and on the road against the Islanders at the UBS Arena.

The Sabres opening month is heavily laden with home games, with six of their nine October games at Key Bank Center against the Rangers, Tampa Bay, Calgary, the Islanders, Montreal and Colorado.  That is counterbalanced by a road-heavy November, with only four games at home, including a 6 pm start on Black Friday against the Pittsburgh Penguins on Friday, November, 24.

Buffalo’s longest home stand is in mid-January against Seattle, Ottawa, Vancouver, San Jose, Chicago and Tampa Bay, and their longest road trip is from March 16-24 against Detroit, Seattle, Vancouver, Calgary and Edmonton, and they face the Atlantic Division arch-rival Toronto Maple Leafs on Thursday, December 21 and Saturday, March 30.
