Sabres Daily: Cup Final Eludes Eichel; Peterka Tops Tuch

Former Buffalo Sabres captain Jack Eichel will have to wait until at least Monday to punch his ticket to the Stanley Cup Final. Dallas forward Ty Dellandrea scored twice in the third period to give the Stars a 4-2 win over the Vegas Golden Knights on Saturday, narrowing the Knights lead in the best-of-seven series to 3-2.

Eichel assisted on Ivan Barbashev’s opening goal and led all Vegas forwards in ice time with 20:58. The Golden Knights will have another attempt to close out the series in Dallas on Memorial Day Monday, with Stars team captain Jamie Benn eligible to return to the lineup after serving a two-game suspension.
